A fledgling interplanetary species, Humanity has extended it's first grasps beyond Earth. But space is vast, and 6 months to Mars is hardly an easy trip. Salvation seems within reach with the development of a warp-capable ship, it's warp bubble propelling it beyond the speed of light. On its maiden voyage, however, the warp drive's unintended consequences bring catastrophic destruction to their new home.
